Prama Foundation was established in 2009 with the genuine mission and intention to help improve the quality of life for the poor and disadvantaged people around the world, and those affected by calamity and conflict. The time has come for relief- and development organizations to engage in holistic practices which focuses on building the resilience of people and their connection with their environment.
Prama Foundation aims to encourage and enable individuals and communities to harness their own resources for securing the basic necessities of life and for gaining greater balance between economic, social, ecological and spiritual fulfillment, while honoring their customs, language, and religious beliefs. For us, development means human exchange: people sharing wisdom, knowledge and experience to build a better world.
